Grow Eyebrows Quickly
Grow Eyebrows Quickly With Tested Techniques
There are a lot of reasons that you may want to grow eyebrows. Maybe you over plucked. Maybe you’re tired of sweat and other things getting into your eyes. That’s why eyebrows are there really, to protect your eye. Having thicker eyebrows enhances your appearance and your expression.
Does it take long for eyebrows to grow back? Not usually. But when plucking, you have to be careful not to pull out the root. If the hair is pulled out at the root, it may not grow back at all. Some people suffer from conditions such as hypothyroidism that cause hair to be week, brittle and to fall out easily. It also makes it difficult to grow eyelashes. Other people have genetic causes. If your dad, or mom had thin hair there is a good chance your hair is going to be thin also. So you could thank your parents for your thinning eyebrows.
Some people have a poor diet, low in protein. A good, well balanced diet, rich in lean protein will help you grow eyelashes as well as other hair. Hair is a protein, and the body needs an adequate supply to assist with growth and renewal.
Grow Eyebrows With Help From Your Kitchen
Eyebrows require conditioning just like the hair on your head. A good oil is usually the best source of moisture. Vaseline is commonly recommended because of it’s consistency. It is easy to apply and stays on. It provides moisture to the skin, as well as to the hair. This helps the hair to be less brittle and may prevent breakage. Also commonly recommended is olive oil. I actually prefer olive oil, I think the results are better. I also feel a little uncomfortable putting petroleum jelly on my face and would rather use a plant based oil. Caster oil is another alternative.
I have heard it said that olive oil promotes growth, Vaseline promotes thickness and caster oil gives you both. I’m not sure that’s true. I haven’t seen any actual studies on any of them. They each simply moisturize the hair, the follicle and the skin. This promotes growth and a healthier hair.
If you have a desire, or a need to grow eyebrows you should also look at some of the new cosmetics that are available. Some of these just offer basic conditioning. Others are clinically tested products that were developed specifically to promote hair growth. For a number of years, glaucoma patients have been treated with prostoglandin analogues. Two common ones are Bimatoprost and Trinorprosta. These are found in the eye drops that treat the condition. Medical personel working with glaucoma patients have long noticed and documented the growth in their eyelashes. These prostoglandins have the same effect when applied to the eyebrows. They promote growth.
If you need to grow eyebrows to get the look you want, use several techniques. Be careful plucking, keep your eyelashes conditioned, and consider the use of one of the new cosmetics that promote hair growth. In just a few weeks, you can see a remarkable difference.
